With COVID raging, The World Society for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery quickly pivoted from annual scientific meeting to offering their education online. A number of in-person scientific meetings were moved to monthly Zoom meetings. Becker Associates was consulted to help their with domain registration, and build a site to manage this new initiative, called the World University for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery.
We are now assisting them with graphics and coordination to set-up each new webinar, communications and marketing, tracking attendance, video editing of webinar recording, and posting to YouTube. The new site has a member portal where attendees can re-download receipts, as well as print off certificates of attendance if they attended more than 60% of the webinar.
As the webinars grow in numbers, the WUCPSH will move its library of educational videos to a learning management system (LMS) and offer a course platform for its members, as we have done for MDRAO.
